Myrna Koch Calls It a Career
Tax principal Myrna K. Koch, who joined the
firm in 1982, has retired from the
accounting profession. She had announced to
her colleagues earlier in the year that the
2008 tax season would be her last.
While maintaining a winter residence in the
Valley, Myrna will spend more time in her
native Kansas, where she and her husband
Dwight own a farm.
"For a quarter of a century, Myrna has been
a virtually indispensable part of our firm,"
said managing partner
Jim
Schmidt, who worked closely with her
throughout her time at Schmidt Westergard &
Company. "She enjoyed very close friendships
and professional relationships with many of
our clients; she has been an invaluable
mentor to nearly all of our tax
professionals; and her integrity and sense
of humor helped make our firm a great place
to work. We will all miss her." |
