Gerry Henderson specializes in taxation,
business planning, financial services,
and mergers and acquisitions. He has
extensive experience with companies in
the real estate, construction and
service industries.
He joined Schmidt Westergard & Company
in 2002.
When the State of Arizona decided to
conform the State income tax statutes to
the Federal Internal Revenue Code, Gerry
was engaged to completely rewrite the
State income tax law and related
regulations. This massive project
resulted in the current Arizona Income
Tax Statute and Regulations.
He is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants and the
Arizona Society of Certified Public
Accountants. He is actively involved
with the Boy Scouts of America.
Gerry graduated from Brigham Young
University with a Bachelor of Science in
Accounting/Business & Economics.
With 13 children and 31 grandchildren,
Gerry’s personal calendar is filled with
baseball games, soccer games, plays,
concerts and similar events.
