04 Jan Partner Jim Schmidt Retires
After 36 years as a partner with Schmidt Westergard & Company, Jim Schmidt has decided to retire as a partner from Schmidt Westergard as of December 31, 2020.
Effective January 1, 2021, Jim will assume a valued role with the firm in an “Of Counsel” capacity. In this new role, Jim will be available to help ensure successful client transition, provide consultative services and to promote ambassadorial goodwill. Jim’s announcement to retire does not lessen his interest in, nor his commitment to the well-being and success of our clients. In fact, in this advisory role Jim will remain available to assist our partners and apply his knowledge to leverage our clients success.
“I have been fortunate to have a long career, 41 tax seasons to be exact. It has been an amazing journey and a great honor to serve you, and to work closely with tremendous professionals and outstanding clients throughout Arizona and the Southwest. Your friendship and trust will always be appreciated,” Jim announced.
On behalf of the entire Schmidt Westergard team, we wish Jim a long and healthy retirement.
